$3.4 Million in damages following trial in fraud case on behalf of client Mantra Entertainment against owners of legendary Hollywood Sound Recorders recording studio.

Defense verdict in federal jury trial for Roger Hodgson of Supertramp.

Judgment in favor of Cleopatra Records in the amount of $965,851 against Broadway producer Floyd Mutrux ("Million Dollar Quartet") and his company Northern Lights, Inc. following a court trial.

Obtained complete defense verdict in jury trial for Guns N' Roses' production company after securing a judgment on behalf of client W. Axl Rose. In addition, obtained damage award on cross-complaint against the plaintiff video producer who had claimed more than $12 million in damages. 

$1.6 million judgment plus attorney's fees following court trial for client E1 Films in a film distribution case. Affirmed on appeal. 

$2.2 million following arbitration in connection with foreign distribution deal on motion picture "Whiplash".

$10 million judgment in federal court on DVD distribution case.

Obtained total victory in court trial against the majority owner of a company in a shareholder derivative action - including an award of punitive damages, attorney's fees and an order removing majority owner from board of directors. Majority owner then paid 2X value of stock to buy out minority shareholder. 

Prevailed in arbitration on behalf of reality show star sued for millions by an internet company. Awarded attorney's fees.

$2 million awarded to singer who was brutally assaulted.

Obtained a complete defense verdict in a jury trial on behalf of seller of 5455 Wilshire Boulevard office tower on breach of contract and fraud claims. Awarded attorney's fees.

Secured defense verdict in jury trial for seller of Wiltern Theater on fraud claims.  

Prevailed in jury trial on behalf of Cleopatra Records in suit by video producer.

Secured terminating "doomsday" sanctions and dismissal of lawsuits against composer who repeatedly sued client Warner Music with frivolous claims. Plaintiff was then declared vexatious litigant and barred from bringing further lawsuits without prior court approval.  

Prevailed in lengthy and complex commercial unlawful detainer trial on behalf of owner of 9420 Wilshire Boulevard - before it was transformed into the "Rolex Building" - against lessee who held the sublease for the original Abercrombie & Fitch premises in Beverly Hills. Affirmed on appeal.

Obtained numerous sanctions awards against a Hollywood Boulevard landlord who brought an ill-conceived and frivolous unlawful detainer action against a restaurant operator. The landlord voluntarily dismissed the action just before terminating sanctions were about to be issued. 

Had defamation case against television star dismissed on an anti-SLAPP motion. 

Recovered all rights to "Your Show of Shows" for legendary comedian Sid Caesar at arbitration.

Obtained complete victory in jury trial defending former operations manager when AMPCO Parking (now ABM) sued him for misappropriation of trade secrets. In addition to a defense verdict and award of attorney's fees, also prevailed on cross-complaint for defamation against AMPCO executives.

Successfully defended copyright infringement claims on behalf of owner of television shows.

Obtained verdict before a jury on behalf of a studio chairman related to his investment in a nightclub. The verdict together with settlements paid by other defendants amounted to a nearly 1000% return on investment. 

Obtained complete victory on behalf of a real estate developer on a fraud case in a jury trial.

Acted as co-counsel with major firm in securing $1 million+ verdict for film company on a distribution case before a jury.

Prevailed in arbitration on behalf of film star Daryl Hannah in a commercial endorsement case.

Jury verdict resulting in recovery of more than $350,000 in civil rights action.

Total victory in declaratory relief action on rights to royalties on "Iron Eagle."
